2024 Rocky Mountain Altitude Is Enduro Redefined
The all-new 2024 Rocky Mountain Altitude is here to redefine the enduro bike market with a cutting-edge design and innovative features. This completely overhauled model reintroduces the LC2R (Low Center Counter Rotating) suspension design. It also brings back size-specific tuning and adds a PenaltyBox 2.0 for convenient in-frame storage. It's a top choice for hard-core racers and people who just love to ride.
Rocky Mountain worked on the Altitude with its elite enduro team to make sure it could handle the tough challenges that come with top-level racing. It boasts more aggressive geometry for added speed and stability, with a slacker head tube angle, steeper seat tube angle, and longer chainstays. The LC2R suspension with a 170mm fork and 160mm of rear travel offers enhanced traction, efficiency, and bottom-out resistance.
There 2024 Altitude comes in a wide range of alloy and carbon-frame builds for different budgets and preferences. Build kits range from the A30 Shimano spec to the C99 SRAM spec. The 2024 Altitude is for everyone, whether you want to end up on the podium or ride on your own terms.

What's the purpose of a two-position axle?
The most important thing in choosing a mountain bike is whether it fits you or not. A 2-position rear axle allows the rider to adjust their mountain bike fit even more precisely for the perfect ride. The rear wheel can be moved forward or back by 10mm, which changes the rear-center length. A longer rear center makes it easier to achieve maximum traction (50% of weight on the front tire and 50% on the back tire) when corning, but harder to lift the front wheel to get over obstacles.

Can I adjust the rear center length while out riding?
Technically it's just a few minutes to make the adjustment, but we would recommend adjusting the two position axle only while at home in your garage in between rides. The rear center length isn't designed to be adjusted in the middle of the day.
