New Suspension System
Many thrills await with the new single-axle damping system. Compression is optimized for peak performance on any terrain, from rocky uphills to wide, flat planes. Rock Shox and Fox rear shock absorbers provide 45mm travel. It’s regressive at first, then stiffens as the suspension compresses. Giving you a solid pedaling platform to rule the trails like it’s your job. The end stroke has more progression for bottom-out resistance and full use of the travel. Finally, seatstays are connected by a bridge for high torsional stiffness.
New Urta Max Handlebar
Experience the thrills of a new Urta Max bar is a monocoque carbon mountain bike handlebar. Special spacers allow for perfect frame integration. A similar design to one-piece road handlebars. Even better, it absorbs even the smallest vibrations on vertical planes. The stem is angled -27 degrees, putting you in a powerful pedaling position on technical uphills.
High-Modulus Carbon Frame
The frame’s two triangles are made of Wilier’s own HUS-MOD high-modulus carbon fiber. It’s used on all of the brand’s top-range bikes. Fully integrated cable routing in the front triangle makes it sleek and tidy, and as quiet as possible. The headset is incredibly stiff due to no holes. A rubber cover protects the rear triangle from mud, dirt, and debris for longer frame life. Every build comes with a telescopic dropper post with 100mm of travel on small and medium frames, and 125mm on large and extra-large. You can run almost any set of off-road tires up to 2.4 inches.
Geometry Specs
The geometries mount around a 120mm travel fork, creating the ideal XC race position. It’s achieved with reduced stack, extended reach, and a low bottom bracket. You’ll be dropped and gathered on the bike for the best performance you’ve ever experienced, competition or not. In turn, you feel more safe and aggressive in the push position.
