Every new Yeti bike is equipped with a Switch Infinity suspension. It has a patented translating pivot that switches direction as the bike moves. This movement gives you a tailored anti-squat curve, and allows for an independently-tuned leverage ratio. No other bike suspension can achieve that.
A high anti-squat value gives you incredible pedaling performance. As you ride, the anti-squat drops off, allowing the custom-tuned shock to perform as it was intended to. These characteristics give you a bottomless feel and great mid-stroke support.
Switch Infinity also adapts to different travel platforms. It can be tuned for an infinite range of kinematic curves. It’s also incredibly lightweight and bomb-proof – made to withstand all weather conditions. Even the worst you can imagine. Picture a harsh winter in Canada – yes, it can handle that.
Servicing this suspension is easy, too. If you bike in really dirty or muddy conditions, or you wash your bike regularly, you have to grease the stanchions every 25-50 hours of riding. If you mainly get around in dry or dusty conditions, it’s required every 75 to 100 hours of riding.
