When you buy an ex-demo, blemish or display bike, you get a premium mountain bike with a full manufacturer warranty at used-bike prices. Every bike is thoroughly checked in our shop by professional bike mechanics. The demo and display bikes we sell come either from the manufacturer or from our own fleet of demo bikes.

Where do the bikes come from?
Display bikes
Ex-display bikes are pretty much straight out of the display window and have never seen the trail. For example, they may have been displayed in:
- Factory showrooms
- Trade fairs
Manufacturer demo bikes
Manufacturer demos may have been used in a variety of places including:
- Product shoots
- Pre-release test rides
- Pop-up demo events
- Factory demo rides
- Press test bikes
Airpark demo fleet
Some bikes are from our own demo/rental fleet and have been ridden on local trails. These bikes are checked by our professional mechanics after every rental and again before being put up for sale.
Blemish bikes
Blemish bikes are bikes that were found by the manufacturer to have a small cosmetic defect that doesn't affect the structural integrity but still means it can't be sold as a normal new bike. These are typically very small scratches somewhere on the frame.
Media bikes
Media bikes are bikes that have been loaned out by the manufacturer to the media and bike reviewers for long-term or short-term tests. They may have been heavily used by a reviewer for several months, or they more maybe lightly used.
What condition are the ex-demo, blemish and display bikes in?
Details
Each bike is totally unique. Some are completely unridden, others have seen mud and rocks under their tires. All come with a manufacturer warranty and have been checked by our shop and/or the factory. These aren't pre-owned bikes! They're new, former demo or display bikes with full factory warranties at a steep discount thanks to our relationship with manufacturers.
Some bikes have unique builds as well that you won't find elsewhere.

As a general rule, all demo, display, blemish and media bikes listed on this page qualify for free shipping. Check each product page for shipping details.
Since these bikes are already built, they may ship faster than non-demo bikes.
Returns
All "Demo" and "Media" bikes are final sale only. No returns are possible.
"Display" and "Blemish" bikes are returnable per normal return policy.
