Bicicletas de cross-country
Cross-country bikes are the best choice if you're looking to go long distances or participate in cross-country races. They provide the most miles for your pedaling and are typically the lightest weight. If you're looking at rolling terrain, smooth, flowy trails, and need the best speed possible, an xc bike is the way to go. They can also be a great fit for backcountry bikepacking. The Santa Cruz Blur is an example of a popular model.
Some XC bikes are hardtails, while most of the high end models are full suspension with 100-120mm rear suspension travel and suspension lockout for those times when absolutely optimal efficiency is needed. The bike geometry is also designed for efficient pedaling (not quite Tour de France, but more like a road bike than other mountain bikes) and has a shorter wheelbase for sharper handling.
Cross-country bikes usually have slightly narrower tires compared to other MTB categories, for reduced rolling resistance. Their overall more lightweight builds compared to other types of mountain bikes also mean lighter weight brakes and other components.
