The Santa Cruz Vala and Bullit both ship with a 600Wh Bosch battery, which covers most weekday laps without a second thought. But some days call for more trail. That's what the Bosch PowerMore Range Extender is for. It's a 250Wh add-on battery that slides onto the forward bottle cage mounts on the downtube and works alongside the main battery to boost your total capacity by roughly 40%.
Plus, on the Vala and Bullit's Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 5 motor, the extra battery unlocks full Boost mode, pushing torque up to 120Nm so you climb harder and recover faster between efforts. The Bosch Smart System automatically detects the extender the moment it's connected and blends power from both batteries seamlessly with no lag.
