2027 Yeti LT: Built to Charge Harder

The all-new 2027 Yeti LT is a long-travel mountain bike created for riders who want maximum speed, control, and confidence without sacrificing the ability to pedal deep into the mountains. Replacing the acclaimed SB160, the LT pushes Yeti’s enduro platform forward with a completely redesigned TURQ Series carbon frame, the new Sixfinity suspension system, 160mm of rear travel, and a 170mm FOX 38 fork.

This is a bike made for steep descents, rough rock gardens, high-speed bike-park laps, and demanding backcountry adventures. Its suspension is designed to remain composed when impacts arrive quickly, delivering the traction needed to hold difficult lines while maintaining enough support to push through corners, pump terrain, and accelerate out of compressions. Sixfinity Suspension Performance

At the heart of the Yeti LT is Yeti’s Sixfinity suspension platform. The system is engineered to create a balanced ride that combines sensitivity, support, and control throughout the bike’s 160mm of rear travel. It helps the rear wheel track uneven terrain while giving the rider a stable platform for aggressive cornering, hard braking, and powerful pedaling.

The LT also offers three leverage-rate settings: 10%, 15%, and 20%. This allows riders to fine-tune the suspension feel for their terrain, riding style, and preferred level of progression. Choose a more linear setting for increased sensitivity and travel usage, or select a more progressive configuration for additional support during hard impacts, jumps, and fast bike-park riding.

Choose 29-Inch or Mixed Wheels

Adjustable wheel chips allow the Yeti LT to run a full 29-inch setup or a mixed-wheel configuration with a 29-inch front wheel and 27.5-inch rear wheel. The preserved-geometry MX position lets riders change wheel sizes without dramatically altering the bike’s intended handling, while the MX Slack setting reduces the head-tube angle from 64 degrees to 63.5 degrees for an even more aggressive descending position.

A full 29-inch setup provides excellent rollover, stability, and momentum on fast, rough terrain. The mixed-wheel configuration creates a more agile rear end, offers additional clearance behind the saddle, and gives riders a playful option for tight corners, jumps, and technical descents.

Size-Specific Design

Rather than giving every rider the same frame characteristics, Yeti developed the LT with size-specific geometry, kinematics, chainstay lengths, and tuned frame compliance. Each size is designed to provide a balanced position between the wheels and a consistent ride experience across the complete size range.

Included interchangeable dropouts provide an additional 10mm chainstay-length option. Riders can use the standard setting for a more responsive feel or install the longer dropouts for increased stability, traction, and composure at speed.

Ready for Long Days and Hard Descents

Integrated frame storage provides a convenient place to carry tools, a tube, and essential trail supplies. The compartment includes a Yeti storage bag and internal bulkhead, helping keep equipment organized and secure inside the frame. A hidden location for an AirTag or Tile tracker adds another thoughtful detail, while a top-tube accessory mount offers additional carrying options.

The frame is protected by wraparound dual-density downtube protection and extensive chainslap protection for quieter riding on rough trails. It also features a threaded bottom bracket, UDH compatibility, Boost rear spacing, a 200mm rear-brake post mount, ISCG-05 tabs, a 55mm chainline, and configurable cable-routing ports with compatibility for moto-style brake routing.

Premium Components for Serious Riding

Every Yeti LT build begins with a FOX Factory 38 GRIP X2 fork and a custom-tuned FOX Factory Float X2 rear shock. SRAM-equipped models receive powerful Maven brakes, while the Shimano XT Di2 build uses XT four-piston brakes. Additional highlights include Schwalbe radial tires, a Burgtec Enduro MK4 stem, a Yeti carbon handlebar, 165mm crank arms, and an MRP AMG SL bash guide.

The flagship X0 build adds a DT Swiss EXC 1700 EVO carbon wheelset for responsive acceleration and precise handling. The XT Di2 and X0/90 models use durable DT Swiss E1900 wheels, with the EXC 1700 EVO wheelset available as an upgrade.
