The 2026 Orbea Rise: Full Details & Specs
Rise above the rest.
A trail bike that happens to carry a motor. Assistance when you want it, pure flow when you don't. The 2026 Orbea Rise.
For 2026, Orbea rebuilt the core of the E bike to be even better: motor tune, remote, and dropper. A smaller battery makes a better bike. Less weight, carried lower, with less mass to battle when you need to move quickly. Orbea's custom RS firmware wrings maximum range out of the battery while offering huge power when you need it. Choose the RS setting when you want the miles, RS+ when you want the shove, or fully custom assistance levels.
The electronics are in-house Orbea. The motor, display and dropper all run off the main battery and are controlled by one remote. Say goodbye to charging multiple batteries!
The MC10-RS smart dropper keeps track of its own height, enabling the most advanced dropper post settings of any brand. Instead of just locked or open, you can set predefined heights such as your optimal height for climbing, and access them instantly.
Concentric Boost suspension layout puts the pivot right at the rear axle for fewer parts, less weight, and a rear end that keeps tracking dirt while you're hard on the brakes.
The frame is available in carbon and aluminum options. Each frame is tuned size by size for optimal performance.
Rise SL vs Rise LT
The Rise is a choose-your-own-adventure with two bikes in one. The Rise SL runs 140mm at both ends and starts at 16kg. It's quick and efficient and happiest covering ground. Rise LT takes a 160mm fork and 150mm out back, starts at 17.5kg, and slackens off through a flip chip. It's your pick if you prefer taking the harder way down.
Round it out with ten build kits in both carbon and alloy, plus a range extender for the days that run long, and the Rise rises above the rest as one bike to take you everywhere, customizable to your own style, that also happens to have a battery.

Rise SL and Rise LT are sub-models that differ in how much travel they have and geometry. You can choose from five similar build kits for each sub-model.
The Rise SL runs 140mm front and rear on a 210x50mm shock, sits at a 65.3° head angle and 78.3° seat angle in a single fixed geometry position, starts at 16kg, and ships with faster-rolling Schwalbe Wicked Will 2.40 tires. It's intended as an efficient, ground-covering trail bike.
The Rise LT pairs a 160mm fork with 150mm of rear travel on a 210x55mm shock. It also has a flip chip that moves the head angle between 64.7° and 64° and bottom bracket height between 345mm and 337mm. It starts at 17.5kg, and runs grippier tires for rougher, steeper riding.

Frequently Asked Questions
2026 Orbea Rise
They share the same platform, motor system and controls, but they're tuned for different riding.
The Rise SL has 140mm of travel front and rear, a 65.3° head angle and a 78.3° seat angle. It's the lighter, faster option, from 16kg, built to cover ground efficiently.
The Rise LT pairs a 160mm fork with 150mm of rear travel, sits at 64.7° or 64° depending on the flip chip, and starts at 17.5kg. It also gets burlier tires and a flip chip the SL doesn't have.
Shimano EP600 RS Gen2 MC or EP801 RS Gen2 MC depending on the build, both running Orbea's custom RS firmware.
The RS tune delivers up to 85 Nm of torque. Rather than chasing peak numbers, it holds back assistance when you're pedaling lightly and ramps up as your effort increases, which saves range and keeps the ride feeling like yours.
It depends on the build. The Rise SL H30 uses a 540Wh internal battery. The SL H10, LT H20 and LT H10 use 630Wh. The carbon M-series builds ship with 420Wh and are also sold as separate 630Wh versions.
An RS Range Extender GEN 2 adds a further 210Wh and mounts in the front triangle. It's an optional add-on on every build.
The frame is designed around Orbea's Steep'n'Deep concept and accepts up to a 240mm dropper.
Every frame size takes a fully inserted 200mm post, and sizes L and XL go up to 230mm. The stock MC10-RS dropper also shims down in 5mm increments across a 25mm range without tools.
The Rise LT does. A flip chip in the rear suspension switches between High and Low positions.
High gives a 64.7° head angle, 77.7° seat angle, 26mm BB drop and 345mm BB height. Low gives 64°, 77°, 34mm BB drop and 337mm BB height, and adds 2mm of chainstay length.
The Rise SL has a single fixed geometry position.
On the Rise LT, yes. The M-TEAM ships with a Fox DHX Factory coil as standard, and the other LT builds offer Fox DHX Factory coils in 400, 450, 500 and 550 lb spring rates as a configuration option.
The Rise SL is specced with air shocks only.
The Rise SL uses a 210x50mm shock with a custom Orbea tune. The Rise LT uses 210x55mm, also custom tuned.
Orbea quotes the Rise SL from 16kg and the Rise LT from 17.5kg. Actual weight varies with build, size and configuration options.
55mm Boost. Every build uses an e*thirteen Helix direct mount 32T chainring at a 55mm chainline, so match that measurement when swapping cranks, chainrings or drivetrain parts.
Concentric Boost, 12x148mm, across every frame and build in the range.
Yes. The RS Control System is managed through Orbea's RS-App, which is also where you customize the RS and RS+ assistance profiles and set how far Partial Drop lowers the saddle.
Orbea covers the frame with a lifetime warranty for the original owner, plus a transferable 2-year limited warranty.
Registering your bike with Orbea after purchase is required to activate coverage.
Weight, mostly. Orbea builds the Rise in OMR carbon (M-series builds) and High Polish Alloy (H-series builds), and both frames get the same features: size-tuned stiffness, the Steep'n'Deep seat tube, the RS motor system and, on the LT, the geometry flip chip.
It's Orbea's in-house electronics network. Motor, remote, display and dropper all run on one CAN bus, powered by the main battery, with power and data on separate lines for reliability.
In practice it means one remote on the bars controls everything, and there's only one battery on the bike to charge.
