The Tallboy is a short-travel bike with long legs. For the 2027 model year, it's cut weight and bulked up travel so you can ride all day.

The sixth-generation Tallboy is the biggest overhaul the model has seen. It now runs a four-bar suspension layout and has grown in travel to 140mm front and 130mm rear. The new kinematics deliver more traction and bump-eating capability, while the short-travel nature keeps it playful.

Excellent suspension, big 29" wheels, a thoroughly-tuned carbon layup and rock-solid reliability let you go as hard as you want. A flip chip lets you adjust bottom bracket height and head angle to match your terrain. The redesigned Glovebox V2 in-frame storage makes it easy to carry a tube, tool and snack without a pack.

Every build, from the entry-level Deore up through the ultra-limited Limited Edition XX AXS FA RSV, has lightest-weight Santa Cruz CC Carbon frame.
