The 2027 Yeti MT: Full Details & Specs

The definitive Medium Travel bike.

The Sixfinity trail bike. Built around the six-bar suspension Yeti spent a decade developing. The definition edition of Medium Travel bikes.

Sixfinity is the most advanced suspension to come out of Yeti to date. It's the successor to Switch Infinity, with all the good sides and more. All six links drive the shock and control wheel path independently. A flip chip dials the leverage rate between three settings: 10% for racy and consistent, 15% (stock) for balanced, or 20% for plush-then-poppy, without touching geometry, anti-squat or anti-rise.

Long, size-specific chainstays improve front-to-rear balance and climbing traction at every size. Increased stack puts riders in a more neutral, confident position. A ZS44/56 headtube with integrated alignment notches accepts aftermarket angle-adjust cups, so reach is yours to dial in.

The MT is available exclusively in Yeti's top-tier TURQ series carbon, across four build kits from X0/90 to XX AXS plus a frame-only option. It comes in three colors: in Gunmetal, Redrum and Turquoise. Whatever build you pick, it's an incredibly high-performing trail bike. The definitive model for Medium Travel bikes.

Características destacadas de 2027 Yeti MT

TURQ Series Carbon

Every MT build kit is built with Yeti's best frame, the top-tier TURQ series carbon. Turq frames have an advanced carbon layup designed for stiffness, impact resistance and durability. The flex profile is tuned to reduce trail vibration.

Sixfinity Six-Bar Suspension

The MT has Yeti's most advanced suspension system, the new Sixfinity. All six links drive the shock and control wheel path independently for optimally tuned control of acceleration and deceleration.

Tunable leverage rate system on the Yeti MT rear suspension
Tunable Leverage Rate

A flip chip lets you dial the leverage rate three ways: 10% for racy and consistent, 15% (stock) for balanced, or 20% for plush-then-poppy. Geometry, anti-squat and anti-rise stay untouched.

In-Frame Storage

A CNC-machined door with a watertight molded gasket opens to a lined storage compartment in the downtube. A storage bag is included to organize your tools and snacks. Keep the weight low and out of your pockets.

Full-Size Droppers

Dropper travel grows with every frame size, from 150mm on Small up to 210mm on Large and X-Large. Slam it down when you head down.

Adjustable Reach Headset

The MT is built around a ZS44/56 headtube standard with integrated alignment notches. It accepts aftermarket angle-adjust headset cups so you can fine-tune reach without touching the rest of the geometry.

Strapless Accessory Mount

An additional top-tube accessory mount lets you carry extras securely without those makeshift straps that scuff the frame.

Stealth Security

An integrated holder near the bottom bracket, inside the lower downtube access port, accepts an Apple AirTag or Tile Sticker. It's an extra layer of security should your MT ever go missing. It's hidden beneath the downtube protection layer.

Downtube Guard

A downtube guard near the BB protects the frame from encounters with bushes, branches and flying rocks.

Frequently Asked Questions

2027 Yeti MT

Sixfinity is a 6-bar linkage suspension platform that allows for advanced tuning to adapt to pedaling, braking and various points in the suspension travel. It allows for similar behavior to the Switch Infinity link, but with less complexity.

Sixfinity’s lower Switch link first moves upward, and then switches directions and travels downward as the suspension moves from the extended to compressed states. As a result, Sixfinity resists bobbing when you're pedaling and moves much more freely through rough terrain.

Sixfinity allows for tuning braking response and leverage rate separately. On the trail, that means: efficient pedaling without an overly firm suspension feel; better traction and less wasted energy while accelerating and climbing; predictable support when braking hard; active suspension through repeated hits; and a leverage curve tailored to the bike model.

Yes. This model works with both air and coil shocks. You can also adjust the rate chip to change how progressive the suspension feels and better match the shock.

The bottom-bracket standard is BSA 73mm and only wide “q” factor cranks are compatible. It is readily compatible with Shimano, SRAM, and RaceFace cranks, but a fit check is required for other brands.

There is no specific limit. The post must stay above the minimum insert mark, must not bottom out inside the frame, and must not drop the saddle low enough for the rear tire to hit it. If you are wondering if a specific post is compatible, contact us for assistance.

The MT was designed with a ZS44 upper and ZS56 lower headset standard. There are numerous aftermarket angle-adjust headsets available in this standard. The frame is designed to be compatible with a maximum of 1 degree of adjustment, meaning +1 or -1 degree. Any angle adjustment outside these specifications is not approved and will result in a voided warranty.

The MT uses a ZS44/ZS56 tapered headset.

The MT was designed around a 55mm Boost chainline.

The MT uses a standard trunnion mount on the upper hardware and M8x40mm lower hardware. The lower shock hardware is adjustable so you can tune the leverage rate to suit your riding style or terrain. See the owner's manual for further information.

The MT is designed to run a 160mm-travel fork and was tested to 20mm over the spec fork, so you can run up to a 180mm fork with a max axle-to-crown measurement of 598mm. Increasing fork travel will slacken the head angle and seat tube angle and raise the bottom bracket; running a shorter fork will steepen those angles and lower the bottom bracket.

Your personal preference, riding style and terrain can influence which leverage rate setting you choose. Experiment to see what works best for you. The stock setting is 15% and is a great place to start.

We recommend starting with 30% sag, or 16.5mm of shock stroke, for optimal pedaling efficiency and terrain compliance. Set your sag at your normal riding weight, gear included, and feel free to venture slightly above or below 30% to suit your personal preference.

The MT uses a 185x55mm Trunnion shock. Depending on the shock model, it can be locked out, but we recommend running it fully open for the best compliance and traction.

Yes. A holder integrated into the lower downtube access port accepts an Apple AirTag or Tile Sticker (2020, 2022). See the MT owner's manual for installation details.
