Cada disco de freno Wave® MTB de 6 tornillos, patentado por Galfer, está fabricado con una mezcla patentada de acero inoxidable 420 virgen de alto carbono, cortado a láser (nunca estampado), rectificado en paralelo para garantizar una planitud paralela perfecta y tratado térmicamente para cada aplicación específica. El diseño Wave proviene de la división de motocicletas de Galfer y se ha utilizado en diversas disciplinas al más alto nivel.
