The Yeti SB165 is a mixed-wheel, carbon-frame enduro mountain bike.

Who is the SB165 For?

The Yeti SB165 is built for fun rides down intense, steep trails. It’s designed for big mountain chairlift laps, freeride lines, and enduro stages with adrenaline-churning hucks and drops. It has the longest travel in Yeti’s lineup and is designed specifically to take big hits without holding you back. If you’ve ever felt like a mid-travel enduro bike wasn’t quite enough for the terrain you’re tackling, the SB165 is the answer.

What Makes it Special?

The SB165 is an enduro bike with true downhill capability, while still feeling versatile and playful.

Unlike most long-travel enduro bikes, the SB165 was built around a coil shock from the start. Yeti re-tuned their Switch Infinity system specifically for the coil shock. End result, the SB165 is great on the small bumps, has steady mid-stroke support, and best of all has bulletproof bottom-out resistance. It’s the choice for gravity riders who want a downhill bike that can still be pedaled back to the top.

It also has Yeti quality in all the small details that make it a high-quality package. For example the patented shock wishbone allows for a lower toptube and more downtube clearance.

Frame options

Like other Yeti bikes, the SB165 comes in two frame options: Turq, and C series. Both are advanced carbon frames but there are some differences.

The TURQ Series is Yeti’s premium carbon layup. It's the lightest, stiffest, and tuned for the best ride feel.

The C Series is a smidge heavier carbon layup with the same geometry and suspension design. It's the more affordableoption and a still a very high quality frame.

Weight

The SB165 is a heavy-duty bike. Depending on the build, the SB165 weighs in at ~34–35 lb (15.5–16 kg). TURQ builds with wireless drivetrains come in closest to 34 lb, while C-Series models sit closer to 35 lb.

• Small — 5’1″ – 5’7″ (155–170 cm)

• Medium — 5’5″ – 5’11″ (165–180 cm)

• Large — 5’10″ – 6’3″ (178–191 cm)

• X-Large — 6’1″ – 6’7″ (185–200 cm)

Size down for a more playful feel, or size up for extra stability.

Build Kits

From all-in to wallet-saving, the SB165 build kits are as follows:

• SB165 T3 X0 AXS (TURQ) – The flagship build, with a Fox Factory 38 / DHX2 coil, wireless SRAM X0 AXS drivetrain, and Maven Silver brakes. It's the lightest build as well.

• SB165 T2 X0/90 (TURQ) – Same TURQ frame and Factory suspension, but mechanical X0/90 drivetrain and Maven Bronze brakes. Pro-level performance with mechanical reliability.

• SB165 C3 GX AXS (C-Series) – Fox Performance 38 fork with Factory DHX2 shock, wireless GX AXS drivetrain, Maven Bronze brakes. The more affordable way to get electronic shifting.

• SB165 C2 90 (C-Series) – Entry-level build with Fox Performance suspension, SRAM Eagle 90 mechanical drivetrain, Maven Bronze brakes. The lowest price point sure, but still high quality components able to handle whatever you want to ride.

• SB165 Frame-Only (TURQ) – Build your own bike with a TURQ carbon with Fox Factory DHX2 coil shock.
