The 2027 Yeti LT: Full Details & Specs

The definitive enduro bike.

The LT is Yeti’s new pedal-powered enduro flagship. So definitive, it took over the whole term "LT." It’s a total reinvention of the enduro bike, not simply an SB160 replacement. Featuring the Sixfinity suspension that was developed through e-MTBs, downhill prototypes and World Cup racing, then tuned here for a 160mm rear-travel, 170mm-fork enduro bike.

The LT takes you at top speed through the roughest trails. It'll keep you balanced and centered through corners while maintaining grip. It pedals efficiently enough for long climbs, race transfers and full days in the mountains, while keeping you connected to the trail and deep in flow state.

A long, size-specific rear center improves front-to-rear balance, climbing traction and stability across every frame size. The top-tier Sixfinity rear suspension deals out a supportive, predictable feel under acceleration, hard braking, drops and everything else you throw at it.

The LT is built for rough, fast and technical descents, enduro racing and big rides where you still have to pedal to the top. You get a supportive bike you can push against, rather than one that simply absorbs everything beneath you.

There’s plenty to tune, including wheel size, chainstay length and suspension progression. Those adjustments let you refine the LT to perfectly fit your style.

This isn’t a light, flickable trail bike or a dedicated freeride machine. But if you want grip, balance and unflinching resolve at high speed, the LT is calling your name.

Frequently Asked Questions

2027 Yeti LT

The Sixfinity system utilizes a series of links that rotate on fully sealed bearings. Because they're fully sealed, they don't typically require greasing or DIY maintenance. Sixfinity maintenance is pretty straightforward. Keep the linkage clean, check for loose hardware and unwanted movement, service the rear shock on schedule, and replace the pivot bearings when they wear out or become loose. It's also recommended to check your entire bike monthly for loose bolts, including the Sixfinity system.

For more information, contact Airpark Bike Co.

Viene con una garantía del fabricante de por vida.

Sixfinity is a 6-bar linkage suspension platform that allows for advanced tuning to adapt to pedaling, braking and various points in the suspension travel. It allows for similar behavior to the Switch Infinity link, but with less complexity.

Sixfinity’s lower Switch link first moves upward, and then switches directions and travels downward as the suspension moves from the extended to compressed states. As a result, Sixfinity resists bobbing when you're pedaling and moves much more freely through rough terrain.

Sixfinity allows for tuning braking response and leverage rate separately. On the trail, that means: efficient pedaling without an overly firm suspension feel; better traction and less wasted energy while accelerating and climbing; predictable support when braking hard; active suspension through repeated hits; and a leverage curve tailored to the bike model.

Yeti only sells the MX option in the X0 AXS TURQ build kit, but you can make any other build kit into a mixed wheel setup, with 27.5" in the rear and 29" in the front, if you like. The frame-only option is also compatible with both 29" and MX setups. Essentially, no matter what 2027 Yeti LT you buy, it will include the rear wheel size adjustment option.

If you want to purchase this bike directly with a 27.5" rear wheel in the XT Di2 or X0/90 trims, contact us.

Yes. The LT can run a dual-crown fork as long as travel doesn’t exceed 190 mm and the axle-to-crown measurement stays at or below 608.7 mm.

Choose the dropout based on the handling you want rather than assuming one setting is automatically better. Try both and see which one fits your terrain and riding style. Changing dropout length may also require a different chain length, so check the drivetrain manufacturer’s sizing instructions before riding.

Changing the leverage-rate setting lets you adjust how much the suspension ramps up deeper in its travel. Your riding style, terrain, and shock choice can all affect which position feels best. Start with the stock 20% setting, ride it, and make one change at a time. For more information about leverage rates, visit: https://shocksetup.yeticycles.com/support

There is no specific limit. The post must stay above the minimum insert mark, must not bottom out inside the frame, and must not drop the saddle low enough for the rear tire to hit it. If you are wondering if a specific post is compatible, contact us for assistance.

Tija de sillín de 31,6 mm y collarín de sillín de 36,4 mm.

Yeti advises starting with 30% sag, which on the LT is 19.5mm of shock stroke, for optimal pedaling efficiency and terrain compliance. It's important to set your sag at your normal riding weight, including the weight of a backpack, helmet, water bottle etc. Feel free to venture slightly above or below 30% to suit your personal preference. Visit Yeti's shock setup page to help set up your suspension: https://shocksetup.yeticycles.com/calculator

Yes. This model works with both air and coil shocks. You can also adjust the rate chip to change how progressive the suspension feels and better match the shock.

The LT uses a standard trunnion mount on the upper hardware and M8x40mm lower hardware. The lower shock hardware is adjustable so that you can tune the leverage rate to suit your riding style or terrain you are riding. See the owners manual for further information.

The LT uses a 205 × 65 mm trunnion-mount shock. A lockout may be available depending on the shock, but Yeti recommends leaving it fully open for the best traction and suspension response.

The largest compatible round chainring size is 34t.

The LT is designed around a 55 mm Boost chainline. Use that measurement when choosing a crank, chainring, or drivetrain replacement.

A 200 mm rear rotor mounts directly with no adapter. With a brake adapter, you can run up to a 220 mm rotor.

It uses a ZS44/ZS56 tapered headset and is tested to more stringent test standards which requires a thicker head tube. That thicker head tube uses a custom 53.5mm top cap for a seamless look.

The LT is designed to work exclusively with SRAM's Universal Derailleur Hanger at 12x148mm spacing with a 172mm long axle. This axle had a thread pitch M12x1.0. Note that this axle is only compatible with frames specifically designed with the Universal Derailleur Hanger.

The bottom-bracket standard is BSA 73mm and only wide “q” factor cranks are compatible. It is readily compatible with Shimano, SRAM, and RaceFace cranks, but a fit check is required for other brands.

Sí, hasta 2,6".

The LT was designed with a ZS44 upper and ZS56 lower headset standard. There are numerous aftermarket angle adjust headsets available in this standard. Yeti designed the frame to be compatible with a maximum of 1 degree of adjustment, meaning +1 or -1 degree of adjustment. Any angle adjustment outside these specifications is not approved and will result in a voided warranty.

The LT is designed to run a 170mm travel fork. We tested this frame to 20mm over the spec fork. So if you’re feeling the need to beef up the fork you can run up to a 190mm fork no problem. Bottom line - max axle to crown measurement of 608.7mm. Increasing your fork travel will slacken the head angle and seat tube angle and raise the bottom bracket. Running a shorter fork is fine too if that suits you. Shortening the fork will steepen the head angle and seat tube angle and lower the bottom bracket.
