This 2023 Santa Cruz Hightower C S in Translucent Purple is a former Airpark Bike Co demo bike built for riders who want one premium carbon mountain bike that can cover a huge range of trails. It has been lightly used, professionally maintained by our shop, and still includes the lifetime frame warranty from Santa Cruz Bikes. The Hightower is known for being quick enough for all-day rides, calm enough for rough descents, and versatile enough for riders who want a dependable trail bike without jumping all the way into a long-travel enduro platform.

The Hightower C S uses Santa Cruz’s Carbon C frame with VPP suspension and 145mm of rear travel. Up front, the 150mm FOX FLOAT 36 Performance fork gives the bike a supportive and confident feel when the trail gets loose, rocky, or fast. The RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ rear shock keeps the rear end active without making the bike feel sluggish on climbs. That combination gives this Hightower a balanced ride that works especially well on Arizona trails where punchy climbing, square-edge rocks, loose corners, and fast descents can all show up in the same ride.
This bike has a few modifications from the original stock spec. It is currently equipped with Schwalbe tires, a Deity stem, and Niner grips. Those changes give the bike a personalized setup while keeping the core of the C S build intact. The SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain provides a reliable 10-50T range for steep climbs and faster trail sections. SRAM Code R 4-piston brakes add strong stopping power, and the Race Face AR Offset 30 rims with DT Swiss 370 hubs keep the bike ready for everyday trail abuse.
For riders comparing used or demo carbon trail bikes, this Hightower stands out because it offers modern geometry, 29 inch wheels, proven suspension, and a high-quality frame at a much lower price than its original MSRP. The Large size is a strong fit for many riders looking for confident descending manners without giving up pedaling efficiency. Internal cable routing, frame protection, a dropper post, and Santa Cruz’s thoughtful trail details make it feel like a bike designed for real riding rather than showroom-only appeal.
Because this was a demo bike, it does show cosmetic wear, and the condition notes above should be reviewed carefully. The important part is that it has been maintained by Airpark Bike Co and is ready to keep riding. If you want a Santa Cruz carbon trail bike with big ride capability, lifetime frame support, and serious demo-bike savings, this 2023 Hightower C S is a smart way to get onto a very capable mountain bike.
