If you like the nimble feel of a short-travel 29er but want a bit more gumption for rough trails and longer rides, the 2026 Yeti SB120 LR C2 90 deserves a closer look. Think of it as the SB120 with an extended appetite for adventure. It swaps some quick-footed agility for a touch more front travel — 140mm to be exact — and has an aggressive build that can handle tougher terrain without turning heavy.

The frame is made from Yeti’s C Series carbon, which strikes a solid balance between stiffness, durability, and ride quality. The Switch Infinity Suspension quietly does its magic, letting the bike soak up chatter and small bumps while also standing firm when you’re climbing or sprinting. Internally routed cables keep the lines clean and noise down. The threaded bottom bracket means fewer headaches when it’s time for maintenance.

At the front, a RockShox Pike Ultimate takes care of 140mm of travel with buttery smooth precision thanks to its Charger 3 damper and ButterCups that reduce trail chatter.
