We ship bikes fully assembled in a very large bike box, so there’s very little setup required when it arrives. Bikes are set up in store by our expert mechanics prior to packaging for shipping.
How to Set Up Your Bike
Carefully open the box and remove the packaging. Install the front wheel and straighten the handlebar. You'll also need pedals unless you bought pedals with your bike. The suspension (if there is one) will be pre-tuned to your weight. You should be able to ride within a few minutes of opening the box.
Customize This Bike
Is there anything you want to change on this bike? We can customize the bike for you before shipping it out, just get in touch. That includes anything from basic changes like swapping out the handlebars or saddle, to complex makeovers like a drivetrain swap.

The 2027 Santa Cruz Tallboy 6 CC GX AXS is built for riders who want the quick, efficient feel of a short-travel 29er, but with enough suspension, geometry, and component quality to push confidently into rougher trail riding. This sixth-generation Tallboy uses Santa Cruz's premium CC carbon frame with 130mm of rear travel and a 140mm fork, giving it more downhill composure than previous versions while keeping the light, responsive character that makes the Tallboy such a strong everyday trail bike.
The updated four-bar suspension layout gives the Tallboy 6 a more supportive pedaling feel without making it harsh over repeated hits. It is designed to stay calm while braking, hold traction through choppy climbs, and deliver a more composed ride when the trail gets fast or unpredictable. The CC carbon construction helps keep weight down, while proportional geometry and size-specific rear-center measurements help the bike feel balanced across the full XS through XXL size range.
The GX AXS build is a meaningful step up for riders who want wireless shifting and lighter, sharper trail components. SRAM GX Eagle AXS T-Type brings precise electronic shifting, a durable Transmission derailleur, a wide-range 10-52t cassette, and a clean wireless cockpit. It is paired with a RockShox Pike Select+ 140mm fork and RockShox Deluxe Select+ shock, giving the bike a dialed suspension package for long rides, technical climbs, and fast descents.
