The 2025 Ibis Ripley X0 AXS rides the line between nimble cross-country speed and solid trail-day capability. With 140mm travel up front and 120mm in the rear, this bike scoots over rough terrain without losing efficiency. SRAM’s wireless X0 Eagle drivetrain means shifting happens instantly and without the typical cable clutter. There is no fiddling with hangers here; you get smooth, reliable gear changes when you need them.
Fox Factory suspension handles the bumps with precision. The 140mm Float 34 Factory fork softens hits and keeps control sharp, thanks to the new Grip X damper. Meanwhile, the Float EVOL rear shock balances plushness and support. This makes fast descents and punchy hits feel manageable rather than brutal.
Braking comes from SRAM Code RSC four-piston calipers, offering strong stopping power and fine adjustments for lever feel without tools. Both front and rear rotors measure 180mm, which means plenty of bite and heat management on lengthy rides.
Ibis’s own 933 aluminum rims hold up well to rough use and pair nicely with reliable Maxxis tires. Up front, a Maxxis DHR II 2.4-inch tire grips hard around corners, while the Maxxis Rekon 2.4-inch in the rear keeps things rolling fast and playful.
