MTB Demo Center
The best way to figure out what bike is best for you is to get out and ride a bunch of bikes. That's why we have a full service MTB demo center, where you can test-ride the best new mountain bikes all day long.
Our local trail systems are top-notch and won't leave you wanting, whether you're looking for flowy singletrack or challenging what-have-I-gotten-myself-into??? adrenaline-filled adventures.

How to get a free demo
Test rides around the block are always free, but you can get those anywhere. At Airpark Bike Co, we don't just offer 5-minute test rides, you can also go on full-day on-trail demo rides for free too, if you buy a bike from us.
If you don't buy a bike from us, the demo is treated as a regular rental.
Here's how to get a free MTB demo:
- Book a bike rental for each bike that you want to demo from our Phoenix or Scottsdale stores
- Ride!
- Return the bike; we'll take care of cleaning and tuning
- Repeat as needed
- Within 60 days of your first rental, buy any bike(s) from us that cost, in total, at least 5x the total rental cost. Assuming you're buying in the store, we'll credit the full amount you spent on rentals towards the cost of the bike(s). If you buy online, contact us to get your purchase set up with the discount.
In other words, if you buy any bike from us within 60 days of renting a demo bike, you can put the amount you spent on rentals toward your new bike. The bike doesn’t even have to be one that you demoed. You can apply demo credit up to 20% of the purchase price of the bike.
The demo amount will be credited regardless of how much the bike is already on sale.
Example
As an example, if you bought a Yeti SB120 for about $6,000, you could apply demo credit up to $1,200. For our bikes that are available for rent at $125/day, you could demo 9 different bikes for a full day each.
Where is the demo center?
We have mountain bike demos available at both our Phoenix and Scottsdale stores.
On-site demos
Our Phoenix store makes it easy to do on-site demos without needing to drive to a trail. The fantastic trail network at the Phoenix Mountains Preserve is just a mile's easy ride away. That makes it easy swap bikes out and ride one model after another on the same day. We also have electric mountain bikes, available for demo on-site only.
Demo on your favorite trail
Or you can rent from either of our stores, load the bikes up on your four-wheeled bike carrying machine, and ride on any trail you like. Arizona is full of amazing mountain biking areas, from Sedona to Flagstaff and we'd be happy to give you tips on where to go!

We’re an official Santa Cruz demo center, so we have a huge selectio of Santa Cruz models in our demo fleet.
