This 2024 Orbea Rallon M-Team in Forest Green Carbon View/Blue Stone is a premium carbon enduro bike built for steep terrain, technical descents, and riders who want a highly capable platform without sacrificing climbing efficiency. The large OMR carbon frame combines 170mm of front travel with 167mm of rear travel, creating the stability and control needed for rough race stages, bike-park laps, and aggressive trail riding. This demo bike remains in the original M-Team factory specification with no component changes.

The Rallon uses Orbea’s OMR high-modulus carbon construction for both the front and rear triangles. Molded protection on the chainstay, seatstay, and down tube helps shield the frame from rocks, debris, and drivetrain impacts. The Advanced Dynamics suspension system works with Orbea’s Concentric Boost 2 rear axle pivot design to control 167mm of rear-wheel travel while maintaining traction and support through repeated impacts.
A Fox Float 38 Factory fork provides 170mm of travel through a GRIP2 damper and Kashima-coated stanchions. The 44mm offset complements the Rallon’s long, slack geometry and gives the front end the stiffness required for hard braking and precise steering. At the rear, a Fox Float X2 Factory shock features a two-position compression lever, Kashima coating, and an Orbea-specific tune in a 230 x 62.5mm configuration.
The frame includes interchangeable shock extenders that allow the bike to run either a full 29-inch setup or a mixed-wheel configuration. This large bike is listed with 29-inch wheels front and rear. A flip chip at the rear shock extension provides geometry adjustment between low and lower settings, allowing the rider to fine-tune bottom-bracket height and head angle for different terrain and riding styles.
Shimano Deore XT M8100 mechanical 12-speed shifting handles drivetrain duties. The XT shifter and rear derailleur use Shimano’s SHADOW RD+ clutch design for chain control on rough trails. A matching XT M8100 cassette supplies a 10-51-tooth range, while a Shimano SLX M7100 chain completes the system. Race Face Era carbon cranks with a 32-tooth chainring provide a lightweight and stiff connection between rider input and the drivetrain.
Shimano Deore XT M8120 four-piston brakes deliver powerful, controlled stopping performance for long and steep descents. XT M8100 brake levers provide a familiar feel and useful adjustability, making it easier to maintain consistent braking through changing trail conditions. The brake package is well matched to the Rallon’s speed, travel, and enduro-focused purpose.
OQUO Mountain Control MC32Team alloy rims form the wheelset, using Boost spacing and a MICRO SPLINE rear driver. The wheels support a Maxxis Assegai 29 x 2.5-inch front tire and a Maxxis Minion DHR II 2.4-inch rear tire, both with 3C MaxxTerra compound, EXO+ casing, and tubeless-ready construction. This combination delivers dependable cornering grip, braking traction, and durability on technical terrain.
The cockpit uses an OC Mountain Control MC10 carbon handlebar measuring 800mm wide and an OC Mountain Control MC10 Alu SL stem. The large frame receives a 40mm stem, creating a direct and controlled steering position. Ergon GE10 grips provide a secure contact point, while an ACROS integrated headset and internal cable routing keep the front end clean and functional.
A Fox Transfer Factory dropper post with Kashima coating provides 175mm of travel on the large frame. The post is controlled by a Shimano MT500 I-SPEC EV remote lever and paired with an Ergon SM Enduro Comp saddle. The down tube includes Orbea’s LOCKR internal storage compartment, giving the rider convenient space for tools and trail essentials without needing an external pack.
Finished in Forest Green Carbon View/Blue Stone, this large Rallon M-Team combines an understated carbon finish with a high-end Factory suspension package, XT drivetrain, carbon cranks, and OQUO wheels.
