This 2024 Yeti SB140 T3 LR X01 AXS in Raw is a premium long-travel trail bike built for riders who want aggressive descending capability without giving up the efficiency and responsiveness needed for full-day rides. The XXL TURQ Series carbon frame combines 160mm of front travel with 140mm of Switch Infinity rear suspension, creating a balanced platform for technical climbs, fast singletrack, and demanding descents. This demo bike remains in the original factory specification with no component changes.

The SB140 uses Yeti’s premium TURQ Series carbon construction for both the front and rear triangles. Molded protection on the chainstay, seatstay, and down tube helps shield the frame from rock strikes and drivetrain impacts, while internally tunneled cable routing keeps service straightforward and the frame looking clean. A Universal Derailleur Hanger adds compatibility and simplifies replacement if the hanger is damaged.
Yeti’s Switch Infinity V2 suspension system controls 140mm of rear-wheel travel. The translating pivot design is intended to provide efficient pedaling support early in the travel, strong traction through the middle of the stroke, and controlled progression deeper in the suspension. A Fox Float X Factory shock with Kashima coating manages the rear suspension in a 210 x 55mm configuration, giving the rider dependable damping and support on rough terrain.
Up front, a Fox Float 36 Factory fork provides 160mm of travel through a GRIP2 damper. Kashima-coated stanchions reduce friction, while the 36mm chassis delivers the steering precision and braking stability required for aggressive riding. The 44mm offset complements the SB140 LR geometry, helping the bike remain composed at speed while preserving responsive handling on tighter trails.
The drivetrain uses SRAM X01 Eagle AXS wireless 12-speed shifting. A wireless AXS controller communicates with the X01 Eagle AXS rear derailleur, removing the need for a shift cable and providing clean, precise electronic shifting. The system is paired with a SRAM X01 Eagle XG-1295 cassette offering a wide 10-52-tooth range, along with a SRAM GX Eagle chain and SRAM X1 Eagle Carbon DUB crankset with a 30-tooth chainring.
SRAM Code RSC four-piston brakes provide the stopping power needed for the bike’s speed and travel. Tool-free reach adjustment and contact-point adjustment allow the rider to fine-tune lever feel, while 200mm front and 180mm rear CenterLine rotors help manage heat on sustained descents. Cosmetic scratches on both brake calipers are listed above, but the bike remains equipped with the original Code RSC brake system.
The wheelset uses Race Face ARC Offset 30 alloy rims with a 30mm internal width, laced to DT Swiss 350 Boost hubs. This combination balances durability, dependable hub engagement, and practical serviceability. A Maxxis Minion DHF 29 x 2.5-inch front tire and Maxxis Minion DHR II 29 x 2.4-inch rear tire provide confident cornering and braking traction for technical trail riding.
The cockpit includes an 800mm Yeti carbon handlebar with 35mm rise, paired with a 50mm Burgtec Enduro MK3 stem. ODI Elite Pro grips provide a secure contact point, while a Cane Creek 40 integrated headset completes the steering assembly. The long cockpit dimensions of the XXL frame are matched to Yeti’s size-specific geometry, including a 520mm reach and 444mm chainstay length.
A Fox Transfer dropper post provides 200mm of travel on the XXL frame, allowing the saddle to move well out of the way for descents. The WTB Silverado Custom saddle offers a familiar performance shape for seated climbing and pedaling. The full-size water bottle mount inside the front triangle adds practical versatility for long rides.
