We ship bikes fully assembled in a very large bike box, so there’s very little setup required when it arrives. Bikes are set up in store by our expert mechanics prior to packaging for shipping.
How to Set Up Your Bike
Carefully open the box and remove the packaging. Install the front wheel and straighten the handlebar. You'll also need pedals unless you bought pedals with your bike. The suspension (if there is one) will be pre-tuned to your weight. You should be able to ride within a few minutes of opening the box.

Is there anything you want to change on this bike? We can customize the bike for you before shipping it out, just get in touch. That includes anything from basic changes like swapping out the handlebars or saddle, to complex makeovers like a drivetrain swap.

The 2027 Yeti MT XX is the no-compromise expression of Yeti’s new 140mm trail platform, pairing a TURQ Series carbon chassis with SRAM’s flagship XX AXS transmission and a component package built for riders who want speed, control, and precision everywhere on the mountain. With 160mm of FOX Factory travel up front and 140mm delivered through the Sixfinity suspension system, the MT sits in the sweet spot between lively trail bike and hard-charging all-mountain machine. It is designed to cover serious ground without asking you to back off when the descent gets steep, rough, or fast.
This XX build uses a FOX Factory 36 GRIP X2 fork with 160mm of travel and a custom-tuned FOX Factory Float X shock. Its drivetrain centers on SRAM XX AXS with SRAM AXS Pod Controller shifting, a SRAM XX 10-52 cassette, SRAM XX 30T 165mm crankset, and SRAM XX chain. Braking comes from SRAM Maven Ultimate brakes with SRAM HS2 200/180 rotors. The wheel package is DT Swiss XMC1700 EVO 30mm DEG DF, wrapped in Schwalbe Albert Trail Pro 2.5 Radial Ultra Soft front and Romy Trail Pro 2.5 Radial Soft rear tires for aggressive traction and predictable support.
The frame uses Yeti’s Sixfinity suspension platform and a custom-tuned FOX Float X shock in a 185x55mm size. Leverage-rate adjustment offers 10%, 15%, and 20% settings, giving riders a meaningful way to tune progression for terrain and preference. Yeti also applies size-specific geometry, kinematics, and tuned compliance across S through XL. Chainstay length grows from 436mm on Small to 452mm on X-Large, helping preserve a balanced front-to-rear feel rather than forcing every rider onto identical rear-center dimensions.
Practical details are integrated throughout the chassis. An in-frame storage compartment with a bulkhead includes a Yeti storage frame bag, while a separate hidden location accommodates an AirTag or Tile tracker. The downtube receives wrap-around dual-density protection and the chainstay uses an ultra-quiet protector. A top-tube accessory mount adds another place to carry essentials. The frame also uses a threaded bottom bracket, Boost rear spacing, a 55mm chainline, ISCG-05 mounting, and a 180mm rear brake post mount.
The ZS44/56 headtube standard is designed to support reach and angle adjustment through aftermarket headset cups, with alignment notches that help position those cups correctly. Moto-style brake routing is supported, and the frame uses configurable cable ports plus 148x12mm Boost dropouts and UDH compatibility. Bottle clearance is sized for real rides: Small and Medium accommodate a 21-ounce bottle, while Large and X-Large can fit a 24-ounce bottle.
Yeti finishes the cockpit with a 780mm TURQ carbon handlebar with 35mm rise, a Burgtec Enduro MK4 35x50mm stem, ODI Reflex grips, and a Cane Creek 40 headset. The XX kit uses a SRAM Reverb AXS, S 150mm / M 180mm / L-XL 200mm dropper and a WTB Solano SL Titanium saddle. With a 64.5-degree head angle, 165mm crank arms, and a component selection aimed at real trail speed, the MT is positioned as a versatile all-mountain bike that can climb efficiently, carry momentum through rough terrain, and stay composed when the ride becomes more demanding.
