The 2025 Santa Cruz Hightower 4 CC Frame is made to handle a wide variety of trails without holding back. It’s light but tough, built from high-quality carbon fiber that weighs just 6.84 lbs. Santa Cruz was one of the first MTB companies to specialize in carbon frames and their frames are top notch. CC-level frames are the top of the line, designed to be the toughest, lightest and best handling frames available. This means you get a frame ready for aggressive riding but still nimble enough to move quickly through technical sections.
Suspension
The suspension won't let you down At the core is a FOX Float X Factory rear shock (230x57.5). It smooths out rough terrain and keeps you in control whether you’re dropping into rock gardens or powering over roots. Together with Santa Cruz’s VPP suspension system, it strikes a great balance. It offers efficient pedaling uphill as well as a smooth and stable ride on the descents.
Geometry and Handling
Santa Cruz dialed in the geometry for a mix of precision and stability. The 44mm fork offset helps with sharp steering and confidence when things get fast or steep. Riders will find it comfortable on tight switchbacks while also planted when charging downhill.
Maintenance and Durability
Maintenance and durability aren’t afterthoughts either. The frame uses a 73mm threaded bottom bracket, which is known for being reliable and easy to service without the annoying creaks some other designs cause. An integrated headset (IS41/52) keeps the front end clean and compatible with a wide range of forks. This also cuts down on weight.
