Learn More About the 2023 Rocky Mountain Fusion 30
The 2023 Rocky Mountain Fusion 30 is built to take you places. It handles smooth trails, rough paths, and everything in between. It's solid enough to handle the bumps and light enough to keep you nimble when the trail demands it.
The Fusion 30 is built on a Rocky Mountain 6061 alloy frame. That means you get a sturdy aluminum build that won't weigh you down. The frame's geometry keeps things balanced, so you feel stable when cruising and agile when switching up your line.
Shifting gears comes easy thanks to a Microshift Shimano drivetrain. The range covers steep climbs and fast descents alike. Switching gears feels smooth and reliable, with little chance of chain slips or drops.
Up front, a Suntour XCR32 LOR air fork with 100mm of travel absorbs trail knocks and lets you dial in the suspension just right. Whether the trail is rough or smooth, you can tweak the responsiveness to get the best control and comfort.
The wheels roll on Rocky Mountain TR30 tubeless-ready rims. These wheels provide toughness and precision, so you can pump the tires lower for better grip without worrying about flats. That gives you a confident feel when the terrain gets tricky.
Braking power comes from Shimano Deore 2-piston hydraulic disc brakes. They work well whether the trail is dry, wet, or muddy. Modulation and stopping strength are balanced, so you can control your speed with confidence on technical sections.
The tires are WTB Ranger Comp 29 x 2.4, known for offering grip that keeps up with you on varied trail surfaces. They strike a good balance between rolling fast and biting into corners, helping you stay sure-footed over loose or hardpack dirt.
Finish it off with the Rocky Mountain 148 steel saddle. Built for comfort and longevity, it supports you through long rides and can take the knocks those trails throw your way.
If you want a mountain bike that can grow with your trail ambitions and won't break the bank, the Fusion 30 is worth a closer look.
