The Grappler is designed to tame even the most technical of trails chunkiest chunder and slickest sketchy descents in wet or dry conditions. e*thirteens proprietary Mopo compound provides ultimate soft tacky grip across the total tread width.
- Alternating rows of center knobs improve the distribution of load across the contact patch for enhanced grip on slippery slabs and roots while still digging into loose terrain and self-cleaning effectively
- Wider center knob rows provide a smoother more predictanble transition through lean angles to the hard-biting sidewall knobs and improve wear life
- Center knob sipes alternate between parallel and perpendicular balancing stability while transitioning from straight line to cornering generous braking traction and bite on climbs and descents
- Center knobs and sidewall knobs are engineered to reduce fold-over under high speed cornering forces
- Sidewall knobs feature angled sipes to soften the corners and arched cutaways with accordion sipes on the sides to increase flexibility and control deformation
- Puncture resistant nylon breakers under the tread dual-ply nylon casings and tubeless inserts
- Mopo compound features an incredibly soft and tacky (42 shore) outer layer across the entire tread for maximum grip over a medium hardness base layer for stability and speed
