The Sidekick rear hub features a unique anti-kickback drive mechanism with adjustable deadband, providing smooth suspension performance, reduced fatigue, and near-silent operation for an unparalleled riding experience. Its groundbreaking freehub mechanism disengages the drivetrain from the rear wheel when coasting, and an adjustable deadband filters kickback and chain vibration before it reaches the pedals, virtually eliminating pedal feedback effects on suspension. With the drive mechanism disengaged from the ratchet ring, drag is significantly reduced. The result is an impeccably smooth ride over the roughest terrain, improved traction, heightened speed and control, and reduced fatigue.
