Learn More About the Haro Shredder Pro 20
The Haro Shredder Pro 20 is made for young riders stepping onto the BMX scene for the first time. It's built to handle the early stages of learning freestyle riding. Think tricks, jumps, and those slick moves that make BMX so exciting. Everything about this bike points toward giving beginners a solid, safe foundation to build their skills on. Basically, the Haro Shredder Pro 20 is a bike that helps young riders get to know BMX without overwhelming them. It focuses on building solid fundamentals while capturing the fun and freedom that BMX riding brings.
Frame
It's built on a full Hi-Ten frame made from high-tensile steel. This means the frame is tough enough to take the knocks and drops that come with learning, but it's not so heavy that it slows you down. The geometry of the frame suits BMX tricks and jumps. It helps riders feel stable whether they're pushing themselves for the first time or starting to string tricks together.
Wheels
The wheels are 36-hole alloy single-wall rims. They keep things light and responsive while offering enough strength for newcomers finding their balance. These won't hold up like double-wall rims under harsh riding. However, they don’t need to at this stage because they’re just right for anyone getting comfortable on a BMX.
Brakes
You'll also find a set of Tektro alloy 990 U-brake on the rear. It’s straightforward and reliable, so young riders can brake quickly when they need to, staying in control even when trying out new moves. Safety and control go hand in hand here.
Tires
Tires are Kenda K-Rad front and back. These give a nice mix of grip and smooth rolling across different surfaces. Whether it’s cruising around the block or hitting up the local skatepark, those tires help keep the ride steady and sure-footed.
Cranks
Pedaling comes via Haro’s one-piece steel cranks. They may be simple, but they’re sturdy and perfect for newcomers learning how pedaling power affects speed and balance. Solid basics without unnecessary complexity.
Comfort
Comfort matters too. The padded, adjustable saddle lets riders tweak their seating position as they grow or improve technique. No distractions from discomfort when all you want to focus on is nailing your next trick.
Grips
And the Haro Stripe Grips are not just about looks. They help maintain a secure hold during every move. Grippy, comfortable, and giving the bike a bit of style that fits the BMX vibe.
