Race Face Era eMTB Wheels are purpose-built for modern full-power electric mountain bikes. They take everything riders love about the standard Era wheels and reinforce it for higher speeds, bigger impacts, and the added weight of motor-driven riding. This is a carbon wheelset designed to handle aggressive terrain without compromise.

The rims use a 30mm internal width and 37.2mm external width, giving modern tires a stable and predictable platform. Both wheels feature front- and rear-specific rim profiles. The front rim is tuned for control and compliance, helping track smoothly through rough terrain. The rear rim is deeper and stronger to better handle heavy impacts and sustained load from eMTB riding.

Race Face reinforces the carbon layup and adds a thicker Anvil Edge bead wall for increased durability and impact resistance. This design helps protect against rim damage and improves tire support when pushing hard through technical terrain.

The wheelset uses Vault hubs with a modified design for eMTB use. A steel internal axle increases strength and stiffness to handle higher torque and heavier loads. The hubs deliver fast, consistent engagement and are built to withstand long days on demanding trails.

Spoke construction is upgraded for durability. The Era eMTB wheels use J-bend spokes with 28 spokes in the front and 32 in the rear. The thicker double-butted design improves strength and reliability under load, while also making service and replacement easier compared to straight-pull systems.

Despite the added strength, the wheelset remains reasonably lightweight for its category. At just under 1930g for a 29” setup, it balances durability and efficiency for aggressive trail and enduro riding.

These wheels are rated for a 150kg (330 lb) system weight and up to 130Nm of motor torque, making them suitable for the most powerful eMTB systems on the market.

They come tubeless ready, pre-taped, and ready for fast setup right out of the box. A lifetime warranty, including crash replacement, adds extra confidence for riders pushing hard on every ride.

Overall, the Race Face Era eMTB Carbon Wheels are built for riders who demand maximum strength, control, and reliability from a carbon wheelset. They are engineered to handle the realities of full-power eMTB riding while still delivering a precise and confident feel on the trail.
