The 2024 Norco Optic C1 is designed to handle challenging trails with a balance of control and agility that makes riding feel natural. Its full carbon high pivot frame delivers 120mm of smooth, rear suspension travel. Norco's Idler Guide and Lower Guide system keep the chain tension steady and improve pedaling efficiency, so the drivetrain feels consistent, even on rough, technical terrain.
Shifting gears is smooth and fast thanks to the SRAM X0 Eagle AXS T-Type electronic drivetrain. A simple click shifts the gears with precision. Paired with SRAM Level Stealth Silver brakes, you'll get reliable, modulated stopping power that inspires confidence on steep descents or tricky sections.
The suspension setup helps keep you in control. Up front, the Fox Factory 34 FLOAT GRIP2 fork offers 140mm of travel and features a GRIP2 damper that lets you dial in the ride feel to suit the trail. At the rear, a Fox FLOAT X Factory shock provides 125mm of responsive travel, smoothing out bumps and helping maintain traction.
Cable routing goes inside the frame, keeping things tidy and protected against mud and moisture. This reduces the chance of snagging or damage. The One Up Adjustable Dropper post lets you change saddle height with a quick flick, perfect for adapting to variable trail conditions on the fly.
The Norco Optic rolls on a set of We Are One Union Carbon wheels with Industry Nine 1-1 hubs. This combo is built for stiffness and responsiveness, without adding unnecessary weight. The Maxxis tires, with the 2.5” Minion DHF in front and 2.4” Dissector in back, provide reliable grip and traction across different trail surfaces. The bike is rounded out with components like the FSA #57E Internal Sealed Bearing headset and SRAM DUB BSA threaded bottom bracket, crafted to last.
