The 2024 Yeti ASR C3 GX Transmission is built for riders who want a bike that handles tough trails with confidence and finesse. Its carbon frame weighs less than many others but doesn't sacrifice strength. This means you get a bike that's quick and nimble and ready to take on rocky climbs or rough descents without breaking a sweat.
Up front sits a RockShox SID Select fork with 120mm of travel and three positions you can switch between easily, right from the handlebar. You can flip a switch to firm up or soften your ride as the trail demands. Out back, the RockShox SIDLuxe Select+ shock offers 115mm of travel with the same kind of on-the-fly adjustability. Together these keep the bike feeling smooth and controlled whether you're dropping in hard or powering up a steep pitch.
The drivetrain uses SRAM’s GX Eagle Transmission with electronic shifting, operated through the AXS Pod Controller. Shifts feel quick and precise without the hassle of traditional cables. A 32-tooth chainring paired with a 10-52 tooth cassette means you have gears for real climbing grunt and also fast downhill sections. The flattop chain adds durability and smooth gear changes, which is important when the trail gets demanding.
You'll also find a set of SRAM Level TL 2-piston brakes, balanced to give you control without weighing you down. These brakes deliver confident performance on technical trails so you can focus on your line instead of worrying about fade.
The wheels are DT Swiss M1900 with a 30mm internal rim width. The Maxxis Rekon 2.4 EXO tire up front grips aggressively and resists punctures thanks to its tough sidewalls. The rear uses a Maxxis Rekon Race 2.35 EXO, which rolls efficiently while still holding traction. This combo works well on a variety of surfaces, striking a balance between speed and control.
The cockpit features reliable parts like a Cane Creek 40 headset that keeps steering crisp and dependable. A wide 760mm Burgtec Ride Wide Ally Enduro handlebar pairs with a 50mm Burgtec Enduro MK3 stem for solid leverage and control. Grip comfort comes from ODI Elite Pro Grips, designed to reduce hand fatigue on longer rides.
Comfort sits in a Solano Chromoly Saddle, shaped to keep pressure off sensitive areas. You can also quickly adjust your saddle height with the 31.6mm Fox Transfer SL Performance Elite dropper post, which helps you stay balanced whether you're climbing or descending.
Additional smart touches include the SRAM Dub BSA 73 bottom bracket that helps keep power transfer efficient and locking cable ports that tidy up cable routing and protect against noise or damage.
