Blending lightweight trail manners with all-mountain confidence, the 2025 Yeti SB120 LR T2 is built for riders who blur the lines between XC speed and all-day backcountry punishment. This Long-Range (LR) edition of the SB120 elevates its capabilities with longer travel, enhanced descending performance, and a build kit that’s nothing short of elite.
TURQ Series Carbon Frame
At the heart of the SB120 LR T2 is Yeti’s premium TURQ Series carbon construction—engineered for the optimal balance of stiffness, strength, and weight. Both front and rear triangles are made from TURQ-level carbon, with molded protection on the chainstay, seatstay, and down tube, so the frame shrugs off rock strikes and shuttle rash. Geometry is tuned for high-speed precision with a low-slung chassis that climbs efficiently and charges descents.
RockShox Suspension: Tuned for Speed and Control
The LR designation comes alive with an increase in rear travel via the RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate shock (190mm x 45mm), delivering more composure when the trail points down. It pairs perfectly with the RockShox Pike Ultimate fork, offering a smooth, stiff 35mm chassis and exceptional small-bump sensitivity, ready for technical singletrack, aggressive trail features, or fast, chunky descents.
Race-Ready Cockpit and Controls
Built for all-day comfort and high-speed control, the cockpit includes a Yeti carbon handlebar with a wide 780mm width and 35mm clamp diameter, connected via a stout Burgtec Enduro MK3 stem. Steering remains precise and confident, whether threading tight switchbacks or hitting high-speed rock gardens.
The Cane Creek 40 integrated headset offers durability and precision fitment for smooth steering, while SRAM Code RSC brakes with 4-piston calipers and CenterLine rotors (200mm front / 180mm rear) ensure stopping power never runs out—even when the trail does.
Top-Tier Eagle Drivetrain
No corners were cut with the SRAM X01 Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, offering crisp, precise shifting across a massive 10-52t range. The X01 Eagle shifter and derailleur work in sync with the X01 Eagle XG-1295 cassette, while the X1 Carbon crankset (170mm, 31T chainring) keeps weight low and power delivery efficient. A SRAM DUB threaded bottom bracket adds reliability with easy maintenance.
Wheelset and Tires: Trail-Ready Strength and Grip
Rolling on DT Swiss XM 1700 wheels, this setup offers reliable strength with a lightweight alloy construction and Boost spacing (15x110mm front, 12x148mm rear). These trail-tough hoops are laced to DT 350 hubs for proven reliability and quick engagement, wrapped in a Maxxis Minion DHF 29x2.5" tire up front for tenacious grip and a Maxxis Aggressor 29x2.3" tire in the rear for fast-rolling control.
FOX Transfer Dropper and WTB Comfort
Climbing, descending, and everything in between gets smoother with a FOX Transfer dropper post (travel based on frame size: 125mm to 200mm). Topped with a WTB Silverado Custom saddle, you'll stay supported no matter how long the ride.
