Learn More About the 2025 Yeti SB165 T3 X0 Transmission
The 2025 Yeti SB165 T3 X0 Transmission is built to handle whatever the trail throws at you. From steep, rocky descents to long, punchy climbs, it’s a bike that stays composed and responsive under pressure.
The bike is built with a top-of-the-line Yeti TURQ carbon frame that balances light weight with serious durability. TURQ Series frames are Yeti's best frame option. They're made with the highest-quality carbon fiber, and designed for the perfect balance of stiffness and compliance. They're built to handle aggressive riding while remaining solid and smooth, and are tested by some of the best racers in the world to ensure they're up to spec. The Switch Infinity suspension platform lets you pedal efficiently while still providing the plush, bottomless support you want when charging downhill. With a slack head angle and low bottom bracket, it feels planted and confident on technical terrain. The carbon layup also adds stiffness, making steering precise and reactive.
Out front, the Fox Factory 38 Grip2 fork with 170mm of travel soaks up big hits and keeps steering sharp thanks to its stiff 38mm stanchions and adjustable damping. The Fox Factory DHX2 coil shock works the rear with small-bump sensitivity plus independent high- and low-speed compression and rebound tuning. Together, these components create a suspension setup that's both plush and precise.
Shifting is smooth and wirelessly through SRAM’s X0 Eagle AXS system. The derailleur handles hard shifts under load without hesitation. The AXS Pod Controller puts customization and fingertip control right where you want them. The 30T carbon crankset balances weight and strength, paired with a 10-52T cassette offering an enormous gear range. Climbs feel easier, and you can still hit top speeds without spinning out.
You'll also find a set of SRAM Code RSC brakes with four-piston calipers and 200mm Centerline rotors. Modulation is smooth and adjustable, giving confidence on steep, loose descents and technical sections alike.
The DT Swiss EX1700 wheels match durability with lightness and a 30mm internal rim width perfect for wide tires. Speaking of tires, the Maxxis Assegai 2.5 EXO+ up front grips corners and brakes like a champ. The Maxxis Minion DHR II 2.4 Double Down rear adds control and extra puncture protection down rough lines.
The cockpit focuses on control and comfort. A wide Yeti carbon handlebar dampens trail chatter, paired with a solid Burgtec Enduro MK3 stem and grippy Odi Elite Pro grips for long days in the saddle without wrist fatigue. Adjust saddle height quickly with the OneUp dropper post that comes in sizes and travel options to fit your riding style.
Additional touches include a Cane Creek 40 integrated headset for smooth steering, the lightweight yet comfortable WTB Silverado saddle, and an MRP AMG SL bash guide protecting your chainring against rock strikes.
In all, the SB165 T3 X0 Transmission rides like a true enduro specialist. It's stable and supple on descents, efficient on climbs, and tough enough to keep performing ride after ride, no matter the terrain.
