Learn More About the 2026 Norco Revolver C2 130
The 2026 Norco Revolver C2 130 is built for riders who want the speed and efficiency of a modern cross-country race bike, but with the added confidence and control of longer travel and more capable components. Designed around a refined carbon frame with Ride Aligned™ engineering, 130mm of front travel, and 120mm in the rear, the C2 130 blends lightweight climbing prowess with the descending stability of a short-travel trail bike. It’s an XC machine for riders who push harder, ride further, and prefer exploring rugged terrain with a bit more margin for control.
Carbon Frame With Ride Aligned™ Precision
The heart of the Revolver C2 130 is its advanced carbon fiber frame. Norco’s Ride Aligned™ system shapes every aspect of the bike—geometry, suspension behavior, and rider position—around the unique needs of each frame size. From S1 to S5, the bike maintains consistent feel, balance, and performance, ensuring every rider enjoys the same stable, confident ride.
With 120mm of rear suspension travel, the frame is optimized for technical XC courses and big-mile trail outings. The geometry is designed to keep handling quick and efficient on climbs while remaining planted and controlled at high speed. Compared to traditional XC frames, the Revolver C2 130’s slightly slacker and longer stance adds a boost of confidence that riders immediately feel on descents and rough surfaces.
The carbon construction offers the stiffness necessary for sharp handling and explosive pedal response, while still eliminating harsh vibrations that can wear a rider down over long efforts. The frame includes modern standards such as UDH compatibility and Eagle Transmission readiness, ensuring long-term adaptability with next-generation drivetrains.
A threaded BSA 73mm bottom bracket adds reliability and easier serviceability, and internal cable routing keeps the look clean and quiet.
Fox 34SL & Float SL Performance Suspension
To match the bike’s more aggressive XC intentions, Norco equipped the C2 130 with a Fox 34 Step-Cast Performance Float fork and Fox Float SL Performance rear shock—a lightweight, capable pairing ideal for down-country terrain.
Fox 34 Step-Cast Performance Float Fork
- 130mm of travel
- 44mm offset for stable yet agile steering
- GRIP damper with smooth performance and intuitive adjustment
The Step-Cast 34 chassis offers more stiffness than a typical XC fork, improving precision on rocky descents, off-camber features, and fast, rough corners. This extra stiffness helps keep the front wheel tracking true even when the trail gets chaotic, giving riders more confidence to maintain speed.
Fox Float SL Performance Shock
- 190x45mm size
- 120mm of rear travel
- Lightweight XC-optimized platform
The Float SL maintains excellent small-bump sensitivity while offering strong mid-stroke support—ideal for riders who push harder into terrain and need the back end to stay composed under force. Combined, the 130/120mm suspension layout delivers a fast, responsive ride with enough forgiveness to take creative lines and push pace over demanding terrain.
Shimano XT Di2 Electronic Drivetrain
At the core of the C2 130’s drivetrain is Shimano’s XT Di2 12-speed electronic shifting system, offering precise, instant gear changes with minimal effort.
The setup includes:
- Shimano Deore XT Di2 SW-M8250-IR shifter
- Shimano Deore XT Di2 RD-M8250, SGS rear derailleur
- Shimano Deore CS-M6100-12, 10–51T cassette
- Shimano Deore CN-M6100-12, 12-speed chain
This system provides crisp, quiet, and predictable shifting whether you're accelerating out of a switchback or grinding up steep technical climbs. Electronic shifting removes the guesswork—each shift lands perfectly, no matter the load or terrain.
The drivetrain is driven by a Shimano Deore FC-M6120 crankset with a 32T chainring and crank lengths tailored by size (165–175mm). This ensures riders maintain ideal pedal ergonomics regardless of frame size.
Shimano MT520 Four-Piston Braking System
For confident stopping power on aggressive XC terrain, Norco specs Shimano’s MT520 4-piston brakes paired with metallic pads and Shimano SM-RT64 180mm Center-Lock rotors.
These brakes deliver strong, consistent power with great modulation, along with excellent heat management. Whether you're descending steep rock rolls or entering loose corners at race pace, the MT520 brakes provide reliable, predictable stopping with minimal fade.
Cockpit Built for Control and Comfort
The cockpit balances XC efficiency with trail-friendly stability.
Norco 6061 Alloy Handlebar
- 760mm width (S1–S3)
- 780mm width (S4–S5)
- 20mm rise
These widths provide leverage and precision, while the gentle rise gives riders a strong stance for both climbing and descending.
Norco 6061 Alloy Stem
A 50mm stem with a 35mm clamp provides fast handling and excellent steering feel without being twitchy—ideal for a long-travel XC bike.
Touchpoints
- WTB Silverado Medium saddle balances minimal weight with generous support
- WTB Wavelength grips offer traction and comfort even on long, rough days
Size-Specific Dropper Post
A dropper post further increases the C2 130’s capability—something every modern XC bike should have. The TranzX YSI36 comes with:
- 120mm travel (S1–S2)
- 150mm travel (S3)
- 170mm travel (S4)
- 200mm travel (S5)
This ensures riders can get the saddle fully out of the way on fast descents or technical features, improving confidence and control.
Durable Wheelset With Stan’s Arch D Rims
The Revolver C2 130 uses a strong, trail-capable wheelset built around:
- Shimano Deore HB-TC500 Boost front hub (15x110mm, 32H, Center-Lock)
- Shimano Deore FH-TC500 Boost rear hub (12x148mm, 32H, Micro Spline, Center-Lock)
- Stan’s Arch D 29" rims with a 28mm internal width
- 32-hole construction for strength and reliability
The Arch D is known for its ideal blend of stiffness, durability, and compliance—excellent for modern XC and down-country riding.
Maxxis Forekaster & Rekon 2.4" Tires
A balanced tire pairing rounds out the build:
- Maxxis Forekaster 3C MaxxTerra EXO 29x2.40" (front) — confident in loose or varied terrain
- Maxxis Rekon 3C MaxxTerra EXO 29x2.40" (rear) — fast-rolling grip with reliable braking traction
Together, this setup provides predictable cornering, great climbing traction, and excellent rolling efficiency.
Overall Ride Character
At 27 lbs in size 3, the 2026 Revolver C2 130 is impressively light for a bike with this level of capability. It climbs like a true XC machine, accelerates quickly, and maintains efficiency over long days. Yet when the trail tilts downward or things get rough, the longer-travel Fox suspension, dropper post, and stable geometry give it composure well beyond traditional XC race bikes.
The Revolver C2 130 is perfect for riders who love XC speed but want more confidence, control, and room to push into technical terrain. Whether racing marathon XC, exploring rugged backcountry loops, or ripping fast singletrack, the C2 130 is built to go fast everywhere.
