Shipped Fully Built
We ship bikes fully assembled in a very large bike box, so there’s very little setup required when it arrives. Bikes are set up in store by our expert mechanics prior to packaging for shipping.
How to Set Up Your Bike
Carefully open the box and remove the packaging. Install the front wheel and straighten the handlebar. You'll also need pedals unless you bought pedals with your bike. The suspension (if there is one) will be pre-tuned to your weight. You should be able to ride within a few minutes of opening the box.

Learn More About the 2027 Santa Cruz V10 CC DH S
A real downhill bike changes the way you see a mountain. Lines that once looked unrideable start to look like opportunities, and every lift ride becomes a chance to go a little faster. The 2027 Santa Cruz V10 CC DH S delivers the same eighth-generation carbon chassis used in the top V10 builds, paired with a hard-wearing component package that keeps the focus on riding lap after lap rather than babying your equipment.
Nothing about the frame is scaled back. The S build uses the full CC carbon V10 frame with 208mm of VPP rear suspension, the same platform developed and proven at the highest level of downhill racing. Its suspension rate is supple through the early travel for grip and comfort, supportive through the middle so the bike holds its geometry in steep chutes, and progressive at the end to absorb the hits that would overwhelm a lesser bike.
RockShox provides the suspension. A BoXXer Select fork delivers 200mm of travel with dependable damping and the stiffness needed to hold a line when the front wheel is getting hammered. At the rear, a RockShox Vivid Select+ coil shock offers the smooth, consistent response that makes coil suspension a favorite for gravity riding, with size-specific spring rates so lighter and heavier riders both start closer to a good setup.
The S build keeps every bit of the V10's tunability. Reach-adjust headset cups give you three cockpit lengths. The rear axle flip chip changes chainstay length to suit tight, technical tracks or high-speed bike park runs. A lower link flip chip changes shock position to fine-tune how the bike sits and feels. Few downhill frames make it this easy to adapt geometry to the rider and the venue rather than the other way around.
- CC carbon frame with 208mm of VPP rear travel
- RockShox BoXXer Select 200mm fork and Vivid Select+ coil shock
- SRAM GX DH 7-speed drivetrain with an 11-25t cassette
- SRAM Descendant DH 36t crankset and E13 LG1+ chainguide
- SRAM Maven Bronze four-piston brakes with 220mm and 200mm rotors
- Reserve 30|HD aluminum rims and Maxxis MaxxGrip DH tires
The drivetrain is a simple, durable SRAM GX DH 7-speed system with an 11-25t cassette, giving you a focused range of gears for sprinting out of corners and pedaling through flat sections without unnecessary weight. A SRAM Descendant DH crankset with a 36t ring and 165mm arms works alongside an E13 LG1+ chainguide to keep the chain right where it belongs, even when the track gets rough.
SRAM Maven Bronze brakes bring serious four-piston stopping power from a system engineered specifically for gravity riding. A 220mm front rotor and 200mm rear rotor help manage heat and maintain consistent lever feel deep into a long day. That confidence on the brakes translates directly into confidence on the trail, because knowing you can slow down is what lets you go faster.
Reserve 30|HD aluminum rims form a strong wheel foundation, built with Industry Nine or DT Swiss hubs depending on availability. Sizes small through large use mixed wheels with a 29-inch front and 27.5-inch rear, while the extra-large frame runs 29-inch wheels at both ends. Maxxis Assegai and Minion DHR II tires in MaxxGrip compound and DH casing deliver traction in loose dirt, roots, and wet rock.
Whether you are stepping into your first proper downhill bike or want a race-capable machine you can ride hard all season, the V10 CC DH S is a direct route to the V10 experience. Backed by a lifetime frame warranty and free pivot bearing replacement for the original owner, it is built to keep coming back for more.
